Dear friends and
family far and near, good evening from Boston. It's a brilliant evening here,
the sun is shining and the Lord is upon the throne - all is well. I went for
surgery yesterday on time and came through surgery well. The doctors were
pleased and said it was successful. I was blessed to have a really good team of
surgeons and staff and have been well taken care of with grace and kindness.
I'm in my room on the 7th floor, with a beautiful view of the Boston skyline.
The doctors have said that I might be able to be discharged tomorrow followed
by some home visitations and physical therapy.
It was a blessing to
have Alice, Jessy, Tom and Lindy, Janice, Jeremy and Micah, Simeon and Ada
here. And now Laureen is coming to spend a few days.
Thank you for praying
around the world and sending your prayerful thoughts. I felt complete peace.
The night before surgery I had tremendous pain . Once I got to the surgical
theatre I felt complete peace and felt the Lord's grace shining on me.
Thank you again for
praying on my behalf and trusting the Lord's healing power on my behalf.
Continue to pray for a full recovery.

PS - It's
groundhog day in America. The groundhog saw his shadow. That means
we'll have an early Spring. Praise the Lord for the way the Lord brings eternal
Spring in his eternal city.
